My name is Luisa Lu. I grew up in Fujian, China, came to the States when I was 11 years old. Attended middle school and high school in New York City, then attended college in Pittsburgh. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in May of 2003 with B.S. in Computer Science. Now I'm working in the Silicon Valley.

File Filter

Simple Java Swing utility for filtering lines in selected list of files, basically functions like a GUI grep. Just few hundred lines of code, haven't really try to make it efficient or anything. I have tried it on a directory of over 8000 Java source files with no problem. Don't try to load too many large binary files though, that will definitely slow it down.

Zoë - Astrobiology in the Atacama Desert

EventScope collaborated with the Field Robotics Center and the science team from NASA on the Life in the Atacama project. Zoë was sent to the desert while the science team remained in Pittsburgh. Each day the team in Pittsburgh would compose and send a mission plan to Zoë via EventScope's ops tool.

Jim won the open class with his mobot, Dodgy II. It made to 8th gate in 1:00.68 minutes. My name is on the winner's list because Jim listed me in his team, so that I can enter the team area during competition to help out.

Run:

Extract class file in to a folder (ie Squares/)
Extract jre/ or lib/ in to the same folder

Squares:
class/ jre/ lib/ run_jre.bat run_local.bat ...

Play:

2 players take turn placing pieces of their color, similar to Go or Othello. Goal is to create squares of any orientation, by forming 4 corners of a square using your pieces. Every time you form a square, the square will be highlighted. You may form more than one square using the piece you placed. Your score is proportional to sum of the area of your squares.

Setting:

You can choose the mode of highlight.
You can change the size of the board when you restart the game.
